    Yes. Post war. This is a 1946-1947 style dagger that was produced after the war. People that worked at the factories used left over parts to make them to sell to the GI's. B&A was a well known manufacturer of edge weapons after the war until the swastika was declared illegal in Germany I think in 1947.

    As I thought !! Geez.. $25.00 a year in subscription is measly compared money lost if this were purchased
    by someone..

    B & A also made Heer and SA Daggers. I bought a SA B & A once made in likely made in 1947 for 75.00 once at an auction in 1995. I walked in to show Grandpa. He told me "post war". What did you pay? I told him and he said good job but it is not Period Made. He was a tough old bird. I wish I kind of would have kept it as it was interesting that they were looking for income sources after the war. My Dad was also born after the war in Germany in 1947.
