"Black Widow" re-blued question
Hello. I'm curious about how much the value decreases for an all-matching "black widow" Luger that was re-blued. I don't have pics yet but I'm going to check it out tomorrow in-person. I'm ok with it at the right price being that I can't afford a perfect one and its my first Luger. Any thoughts? Is $1,000 US reasonable if it is all matching and in good condition? Thank you.
When one is re-blued IMHO collector value is gone. Since a "Black Widow" actually doesn't have a numbered matching mag and there were thousands of FXO magazines produced extra I would think it would have shooter value of $600-700, maybe a little more if it does in-fact have the correct bakelite grips. Just my .02 cents
