Would love to see more and detailed pics. Really cool pistol.

Nice Luger!. A 39 dated Luger will have most of the parts numbered that are large enough to number.

Hello John,
Lovely looking Luger you have!
I have followed suit, cleaned and counted the serials on my byf 41.
If I found them all, I wouldn't be surprised if I missed one or two I have 17 numbers.
I have included the serial on the mag. I should be at least two less than you as Bakelite grips weren't numbered.
I release I haven't necessarily used the correct terminology in the list, please point out my mistakes.

Hi Jonathan, I reviewed your listing of Luger number parts. I found a couple of different names in your list but correctly listed.
1. Safety - Sear Pin Safety
2. Take Down Lever - Locking Bolt
Frame has full Serial Number XXXX
Receiver has full Serial Number XXXX
It is nice to hear someone is also taking good care of their Lugers.
You did a good job listing all the marked parts. Important for collectors to know this when purchasing a Luger. Big difference in price when there is a replacement part. Becomes a shooter.
I will post a couple of additional pics of pistol as requested.

Hi John,
What a beauty, a really lovely looking example. The pictures do you proud.
For my money the Luger is the most elegant design, nothing comes close in terms of it's appearance.
Past, present, or future designs can't match it.
So in my humble opinion I can never see too many pictures of fine looking Lugers such as yours John!
Jonathan.
