I think they look ok, except from the writing on the side on one of them. But i would say 1400 $ is too much.

Paulus,
The first Luger:
has a finish that is much different from original.
has a renumbered sideplate, not good for collecting
has what appears to be origianal bakelite grips
What is the code on the toggle byf or 42?
The second Luger:
Has a finish very close to original
looks like all major parts match
has replacement grips- this can be corrected
Although # 2 has writing on the side this one looks to be a better example, and would be my choice.
Cheers,
Jason
i also choose the second one 800£ is nearly 1400$ i think
is the maket writing makes problem on the first luger why there is such a writing on it i dont understand
Some sort of capture/trophy marking?
they look to have electro stenseling from russian capture
also very badly deactivated (ie) whole length of the barels have been slotted
there are much better available
i personaly would not buy either of them
espesialy at that price
imho ian
