Hello, I've already posted some of my 1939 Eisernes Kreuz on this excellent forum !
I would like to have your opinions on two of my imperial Eisernes Kreuz.
This one has a maker's mark which looks like a "51" to my unexperienced eyes !

Hi,
Thanks for posting your cross. It is a nice original piece.
I'm afraid that I can not help with the maker's mark except to say
that it is probably not "51" . Imperial crosses were most often marked with
letters, not numbers. Unfortunately your picture gets so blurry when I click
on it to enlarge it that it's unreadable. If you could post a better, high res picture
of the mark, I would be more than happy to try and figure it out for you.

Your cross is marked "W S" for Wagner and Sohns.

Nice Wagner cross, this marking is possibly WuS (but also W.S., W&S and J.W.S. for the same manufacturer exist).
