Thanks for posting your cross. It is a nice original piece.
I'm afraid that I can not help with the maker's mark except to say
that it is probably not "51" . Imperial crosses were most often marked with
letters, not numbers. Unfortunately your picture gets so blurry when I click
on it to enlarge it that it's unreadable. If you could post a better, high res picture
of the mark, I would be more than happy to try and figure it out for you.

Nice Wagner cross, this marking is possibly WuS (but also W.S., W&S and J.W.S. for the same manufacturer exist).
