Well I have been doing a study of my collection as and when my work commitments allow and I've been looking at this one for a little while. I don't think I've posted it since I purchased it back in 2018, 2018 was a very good year for me as I went even more EK crazy than normal.

It has a very interesting makers stamp on the ribbon ring. I've been looking at it for a while now and it always looks like KD to me although I suspect it being a KO and the angle of the stamp making it look like KD.

I see similar frame and core traits to KO marked crosses on the forum and in my collection but I'm not 100% on a match. Maybe it's my eye for detail that just can't pin it down.

Anyway here it is and what ever the mark I love this ones core imperfections and texture.

I am almost positive that it's a poorly struck KO mark.

    I agree.
It even has the "hump" for the attachment of the jump ring.
Although the crown on mine is different, I don't know how many cores they used.

Thank you both, I was fairly certain it was a KO but just wanted a second opinion on it.

I do like KO crosses but I think I have enough of them now. On my next day off I'm going to check out all the cores on them again.

I think that there are at least 4 and maybe even 5
    different KO cores.

Well that's it then, I will be checking the cores out for sure next day off. I'm in the middle of 7 days on so 4 days to go. One more early shift then 3 late shifts.

Found a little time this morning and pictured the 6 of the 7 KO marked crosses I currently have. They are in varying degrees of condition and some with original period ribbon and some with modern reproduction.

I like the Paintwork of the Core. The shiny finish looks really "worthy".
