    Hi All,

I picked this up a while back whilst on holiday and forgot to post it as it's when my mum bought the 1939 version at a local antiques fair so was more focused on that.

Whilst not the best condition it was fairly priced and was my gateway into EKIIs along with the 1939 example. This is a more common KO marked version although with a combat/veterans 1914 honour cross made by Wilhelm Deumer. They are on a court mounted variation with a green backing.

Also gave me an excuse to test out the new phones camera again

    I hope you all enjoy,

    Matt

I like the simple bars like this. Tells a story.

Just as an aside, you should tuck the rings behind the folds of the ribbon as that is how they are supposed to be like below......

    Hi Adrian,

I'll give it a go, this is how I found them and didn't want to damage them.
    Best Regards Matt

On the look out for original ww2 M26 Adrian helmet liner.

That's fair enough, I use the end of a spoon or a coffee stirrer to just lift the edge of the ribbon over the ring.
It just looks tidier, there should be enough play in the ribbon to gently hide the ring should you choose to do so.

Nice humble medal bar, and the EK's with marked ring are much more desirable.

As suggested and a big thanks to Adrian. With some careful manipulation of the ribbons with the end of a coffee stirrer, I've been able to tuck away the rings and hooks of the mounting.

A quick picture of this, apologies not in the best of lighting.
