Hello guys i got this recently from a German ebay seller.

The 'Heartfelt sympathy' card is interesting. I've never seen one.
The EK looks good, but I think the ribbon is a replacement
tied/formed into an unusual bow, which appears to be
the size used for ribbon bars. Medals with ribbon
bows are usually reserved for women.

Steve.

I was addicted to the "Hokey-Pokey" but I've turned
myself around.
Perhaps his widow wore it on occaision? Whatever, it's a really nice piece, well done Donk!

Hi Guys thanks for your replies. To the best of my knowledge the ribbon was tide up like this because it was meant for the widow of the fallen soldier. Honestly i cannot tell if it's a replacement or not. My concerned was focused on the card
If that is an original too then i'm very happy with the set.
nice4 one, the ribbon may have been kept mint thru the years
Hey colt thanks for your input mate.

Thanks Paul. Maybe Steve knows more about this since he is mainly an imperial collector.
