    Gents,

After seeing many through the years here is my first purchase of an Deutches Feld Ehrenzeichen. With this piece comes a portion of what I'm led to believe is its original box. The reverse shows that it was made by M. Fleck and Sohn and the pin style is of those I've seen of original examples by other's within our Forum. Now, I may need to hunt for the other variants!

    Congratulations Joel!
I would say that is an original box, unfortunate about the condition but, it is an original.
Look forward to seeing any more you add!
One of my favorite pre TR awards.

    Ralph,

Thank you for your kind words. it is a shame that the box is in a bit of disrepair. However the important printed parts are evident. I'm 100% in agreement that this is a beautiful award and under appreciated.

    Regards,

I agree with the above, It's a very good looking award.
Much nicer IMO than the Hindenberg cross that replaced it. I have one of the
stickpins like the one Ralph posted in his linked thread. They are a little work of art.

    MAP,

Thank you very much! I'm scratching my head as to why I've waited so long to buy one?!
