How big is it? The frame looks more like 39er than a 1914.
The core looks like the standard Generic style core used by so
many different makers however the detail is horrible, even for
that style of core. Is it magnetic?
I've never seen one quite like this one. I don't think I can be of much help.

I was addicted to the "Hokey-Pokey" but I've turned
myself around.
The core of the cross is non-magnetic. As you said the frame is from WWII (I know a little about these crosses), so I searched. Attached is an Eisernes Kreuz 1st Klasse but WWII. The beads of the inner angles and the beads in the corners of the frame are very similar. Did this manufacturer make Eisernes Kreuz 2.Klasse but from WWI? I don't know if I'm thinking right and if this will help in identification, but thank you for your time.

Sorry. I forgot to add that the manufacturer of this cross just sent is Funcke & Brüninghaus.
I've been looking at my EKII cores and other images of EKII's. It's not a core I've come across of seen before either.
Sorry I can't help with this one.
