Yes, CFZ. Everyone, who likes Godet, likes Zimmermann as well, as he was "court jeweler" of Godet & Co..
Looks like in later era CFZ gave up blueing cores and started to make pieces with matte finnish. Still very attractive.

Hi,
Any of your guys seen one of these before ??
I haven't , it's all brass construction one piece !
It used to have a bright silver plated finish, as can be seen from the rest remaining on the back :-)
Any guess on a maker ...!?

I knew it was late hardware, but I did not know Schickle used brass, I thought only "white metal"!
I have a second class white metal one piece :-)

Otto Schickle used also iron and three piece construction. These are the best of, IMO.
