A beautiful collection of Bars and EKs Steve. I am just starting to branch out from collecting single Imperial EKs by adding Imperial EK bars into the mix.
Ken
Joel, what a great collection of EK's. Some truly lovely crosses and 3 Non-com into the mix as well. I really must find an Imperial EKII in a box to add to my collection as well.
Ken
Ken,
Thank you so much my friend. Keep up the search and you'll stumble on one. Rest assured!

Richard,
A true beauty! I'll add that one to the list.
Hi All, just picked up this double screwback EK1 marked 800. It has plenty of character & a nice amount of wear to the ribs on the frame.
Anyone recognise the core?
Cheers,
Richard.
Hi Richard.
Very nice cross.
That is a cross made by B.H. Mayer.
I think that if you look, it has a blued steel core and not painted.
The blueing was very thin on these and in many cases went away
over time.

Thanks Greg, yeah you can see the first signs of rust coming through. To be kept in a dry place! Always liked this style, very workmanlike
I've added your pictures to my makers database
Mine still has some blue to it but it's missing the back plate.

It's pretty much identical to mine. Even the 800 has the same tilt! I wonder if the plate was the sew in type & left on the uniform?
