I was addicted to the "Hokey-Pokey" but I've turned
myself around.
I'd like to contribute my WW1 Iron Cross .925
made by A.M.? Adolph Mayer
That is a very nice looking cross One that I have
never seen before.
Could you post a close-up of the makers marks?

This might not be the right thread for this but does anyone have an idea about this? Maybe some kind of patriotic item? Or very poor Ek fake?
Burning banana, size and what type of construction, i.e. one, two, three piece ? what type of metal ? is it magnetic ?.As details are omitted, the dates for instance, (front 1914 and rear 1813, if WW1), the Kaisers initials (W & FW), and there is no ribbing to the frame, it is not an Iron cross medal, probably a patriotic piece, a paperweight or such.
Hi Chaps, I thought I'd post my latest. I hadn't planned to buy any more EK2's; but couldn't resist the marking on this one. It's maker marked WS on the ring for Wagner & Sohn, Berlin; but also has the Imperial silver mark of a half moon & crown. I understand that this done only by this maker.
Cheers,
Richard.
