I was addicted to the "Hokey-Pokey" but I've turned
myself around.
i found it on a militaria sight is it authentic looks odd to me. tey want 80 usd
I'm no expert on imperial crosses, so I won't comment on its authenticity, but the price seems kinda high. I've seen ones on other sites in far better condition for $50 - 60.
Matthew
the leafs and crown look funny to me
Hunt for the IronCross....there has been much deliberation on this cross, it is believed a period piece but foreign made, not German, one piece, non magnetic, some believe French made for souvenirs for the U.S. "doughboys" at the end of WW1, others that it could be Austrian made, worth around $60 ish..IMO worth having as an example in an Iron Cross collection. The details, the oakleaves, crown dates etc are much smaller and less detailed than a contempery made piece, see thread "Imperial EKs" pages 33 and 34 in the Imperial German section, for more information, photographs and discussion.
Prost! Steve.

Like Steve said, We really don't know what's up with these crosses. IMO they are worth having as an example of one of the many Imperial varients but $80 is too much.
Of coarse I have a hard time spending $80 on any 1914 Ek2.
Here is my example---
