Here is an 'enamel-heavy' medal bar which belonged to Leutnant Otto Eckstein, an aerial observer from Wuerttemberg who scored an early victory in 1915 as half of a two-seater crew.

A joy to look at that 1870 bar, my eyes slowly found the enamel at the end. Difficult to remove my eyes from the 1870 EK.

Stuka, can you post more images of your bar? It would be interesting to see the back. I'm a big fan of Saxon bars from this period, and yours is very cool with the foreign enamel.
