Heres an odd one, Maybauer army observer badge with manufacturers screw fitting ,no pin ever fitted, but it has been gilt plated. Was purchased from a family who advised it belonged to a Luftschiffer crew member . ???
Had enough ? Or do you want more ? Ferg1
Every time I see these, it is like the very first time all over again... You have the best and rarity-filled collection of aviation badges that I have ever seen!
I can't get over those issue gunner badges - (rare to the 10th power for those of you not familiar with them). I think my favorite is still the Bavarian Gunner version with the heavy brass plate - incredible!!
Many Thanks for posting again, and I never ever tire of seeing these....wow, I need to lie down for a while; I feel faint.

Steve said it all--"The best collection of aviation badges I have ever seen"
Some absolutely beautiful examples. It would be impossible for
me to choose a favorite but the cased miniature with 3 piece Godet Ek is especially cool.
