    Hi dear WW1 experts!

Between all the WW2 crosses, I have this poor, lonely WW1 EK 1.
I do not think it will be my last because I start to like WW1 crosses more and more.
But of course, I am not informed about all the ins and outs of these, so I would like to hear your thoughts about the maker. I compared a lot, but the exact match of the straight sword needle and the distinctive point I could not yet find. I'm leaning towards a KO, is that right?

Thanks for your time and your reactions are, of course, highly appreciated.

    Best wishes,
    Martin

I believe this is a Godet...

Sorry guys but it's a Friedlander.

The KO core with this style crown has a curved 9 in the date. As you can see from
your pictures of the date, this 9 is very straight up and down.

Godet crowns are different and they have a slightly curved 9.

Here is some pictures of my Friedlander to compare against---

    Goodmorning Gentlemen,

Thanks for your replies, as always: highly appreciated.
So it is a Friedlander. Thank you Greg! I now can do the searching and comparing (and labelling).
To me an unknown maker, but as confessed: there is a lot about WW1 orders I don't know.
Great to learn more about these.

Have a nice day you all, and again: thanks!
