Fantastic Santi ! There are so many nuances in the hobby of collecting that one never gets bored. I had no idea there was so much history behind all these little ribbon bars. Congratulations on another rare acquisition.

Santi, a very nice composition of these items. I very much enjoyed listening to Preussens Gloria and had not heard it previously. The information was also very interesting, particularly the fact that it mentioned that it was re-worked on 1909 and many members of the public had never heard it before. The music certainly conjures up images of pride and lines of soldiers marching in their uniforms with brightly polished Pickelhaubes. Thank you for this post!

The Kaiser Wilhelm Memorial Medal "Centenary Medal" (Kaiser-Wilhelm-Erinnerungsmedaille Zentenarmedaille) is usually pretty much overlooked by most collectors because it is so
common on early bars and I think also because of it's plain appearance but IMO that single mini button hole award is a stunning little piece. Clean, simple and elegant.

I agree with Greg, some really nice material. I find the Feldschnalle with the HOH particularly interesting, as there are no other wartime awards present on the bar.

This Monday this little wonder arrived in the collection.









This is a single ribbon bar from the Hanseatic Hamburg Cross. It is wide in size and has a tiny red enamelled Hamburg Cross ornament.
What I said: a small wonder.
