Very nice, and I agree, a later piece, probably by Zimmermann. Still one of the nicest designs IMHO.
A beautiful piece! Not one I'm familiar with but now I want one!!!!
"Please", Thank You" and proper manners appreciated
My greatest fear is that one day I will die and my wife will sell my guns for what I told her I paid for them

They are quite scarce and expensive but can be found now and then. Thanks!
That's a great looking award and as you said, they are quite scarce.

I was addicted to the "Hokey-Pokey" but I've turned
myself around.
I also still need one, i found a few but for 250 eur and in not the best condition.
Hard to find in any condition but finding a nice one has been a long
pursuit. Emedals had one a few years ago that I was trying for but I came up
a little short.

The later second class examples, especially with swords, are actually fairly common, as this award was distributed fairly liberally later in the war.
Im in EU so they can be a bit more common but still quite rare.
