I picked this up OLDENBURG FREDERICK AUGUST IRON CROSS 1st CLASS so the collector told me and I wanted to know are these copy's I don't see to many of these so I had to get it for my collection. I seen the very same one but it was all silver with white enamel it had markers marks on the back, but mine has nothing so maybe someone can let me know if I have a copy or a fake. I hope I posted some close up photo's, thank you

I don't know about these crosses but the hardware is what I would expect to see on an award like this.

A very nice cross. As Ralph says above, the hardware is correct.
This would be the State of Oldenburg's equivalent to an
Iron Cross 1st Class.........

genuine cross, but post WWI private purchase from the 1920s. Not an issue cross.
