Prinzen crosses

I got this one from Patrick W in the UK and it arrived yesterday, thanks Patrick!

The cross has been shown before but I've put up some side by side pics with my Deumer. It's virtually the same size, perhaps 1mm smaller but there's not much in it if anything. The main differences you can see is that the dates, letters, leaves and crowns are quite a lot smaller than the Deumer. It is also showing a little seperation on the frame on one side so it is a multi-piece cross. The core appears to be blackened instead of painted and the ring is moveable at the frame.

The maker is unknown at this time so hopefully at some point in the future we may see a match.

Congratulations on finally getting this one. I think it's a great cross.
That's a very nice side by side comparison. Few collectors actually have two
Prinzens to be able to do that with.

I've tried to find a match to this one without much luck as did Patrick
back when he first got it but the more we dig, the better the chances of
finding a maker.

Lovely cross indeed, I really need to find a Prinzen cross myself. My collection really has to have one of these.
