Wiederholungsspange 1914 Eisernes Kreuz von 1870

Hi everybody. I came across this 1914 bar to the 1870 EK II yesterday. I didn't buy it, but might be intereted in the future if it is genuine. To be fair, the dealer didn't think it was authentic, as he was seeling it on consignement for a friend who wanted £300/ $363 USD. From the little information I can find on the net, any maker marked examples are believed to be issued after 1918. They were also only made in enamelled steel or enamelled silver, which this example appears to be. The lighting at the venue was terrible and this is reflected in the poor quality pics. It's not an original. The pattern in the pebbling is all wrong.
I've got one like it. After all these years, I just can't bring myself to tossing it away.

These things have been so massively faked, that 99% or more of the ones out there aren't good. Here is a real one on a medal bar.
