Looks good to me and I would certainly buy it at that price and I am not sure about it having been repainted. I would want to see it in hand but don't forget most of these were never worn except on civilian clothes then a few on the unifiorms of "Old Stagers" during the TR period. This looks like steel to me from these pics. Also, DRGM is like "Gesch Ges" in the TR period and similar to Pat Pending in English.

Don't think it's repainted either . Looks like 1 smooth layer of paint, just like on the one I've got ;-)
