Personally, I'd be giving this badge a big miss. The inconsistent metal thickness shown in the rear photos, and the strange, possibly integral hinge block give all the indicators of a cast badge. Have a look at Ken's badge in the following link, and compare the uniformity of thickness with the example you show:
