The SOS is by far the bigger...and better...show. you won't be disappointed.
+1 To chime in and reinforce what Todd said, the MAX is 9xx tables and the SOS is nearly 2000. The MAX will be in a new location this year and it may have a small effect on the number of tables plus or minus - I'm not sure. But it sill won't be near as big as the SOS. Both shows are well worth the trip IMO, as even the MAX is huge by comparison with most other shows.

Thanks guys. OK, so the SOS is the one to catch. Meeting with three friends this weekend for a final decision. Many thanks again.

    Cheers,

One month to go so going to kick this tread back to the top of the list.
I will be attending, making it 3/3 years in a row.

Just give me a few hours after the 30 hour commute from Aus.

Everybody remembers their "first". As the SOS is just massive. Mine was 1995, but unfortunately between Army life and a break from the hobby I've missed more than I've caught over the intervening years. Next month will put me at three in a row as I make up for lost time.
