Doing some hotel research. Has anyone stayed at the Comfort Inn on Phillips Lane in Louisville, KY?

I was reading some of the reviews. Honestly many reviews come down to pettiness. One guy gave it a one star rating because the shower tub was slippery. Really? And I couldn't care less if the staff is rude. Give me my room and don't bother me unless the buildings on fire. I'm just hoping someone here had stayed there in the past. I looked at Spring Hill Suites across the road but the different is about $300 after taxes. That's a good chunk I could spend at the show.

If your not too picky I have stayed (I travel a lot) at the Super 8 in Louisville,KY.. never a problem and close to restaurants etc; etc;
It's Super 8 on Preston Highway Near the Airport.. I think there is even a shuttle.. But don'y quote me on that... Check them out...Good luck...G

Thanks Gwar. I'm trying for a place I can walk to the show. Don't like being at the mercy of a shuttle. If I have to I will buy trying not to.

I believe within walking distance it may be $$$ pricey... You have time though...weigh your options and as you are booking early you might not get dinged too much... TC...G

Thanks man. I likes where I stayed this year but it wasn't really conducive to walking. The shuttle was good but not always available. And who wouldn't want to be close to the helmet parties

Think security also Todd..stay away from seedy motels..remember your valued items and im not talking about lap tops and other junk necessities.
