The sos is two months away. I took a week off so I can go. Never been before. Looking forward to meeting forum members and hopefully I can find some nice things for the collection. If anyone has advice for me on where to stay that would be great. Also who's going.

Bring more money than you thing you will need! That's what always happens at these big shows

I won't be there but sure others will be (I spent all my $$ at the Max this year)

Unfortunately, me and my merry band of stalwart attendees are not the best resource on where to stay. We alternate between getting an Airbnb house (good) or rooms at dive hotels (not so good). The prevailing wisdom is that money saved on lodging frees up more for militaria purchases. I do hope our designated coordinator manages to get an Airbnb house this year.

Bring comfortable shoes. The hall is huge and there are ~2000 tables to explore. I get quite a bit of exercise roaming the aisles each day so that it somewhat offsets the beer consumed in the evenings.

Do you guys recommend I get there to go through on Thursday. Or would arriving Friday night be fine. I am trying to adjust my vacation days. Hoping to find some SS, party leader or panzer items. Been saving so any help or advice would be greatly appreciated. If i find some great if not i will just enjoy the show and hopefully meet some forum members. Also is it wise to bring trade items.
