Whatever its just an opinion.
Thanks JB....have a good Biker bash....there won’t be a Challie there tho! :-)
Privately owned m113s?
All those vehicles are privately owned......
I thought the us government were extremely against anyone owning m113s, I remembera case in Australia where they had to scrap surplus ones in said of selling to the public as i think the us government requested it. That and i also remember seeing only 3 privately owned m113s are in America. Maybe wrong now
Well these guys have been doing the rounds of UK Fairs for a good couple of years...tho there is a story, which I intend to test today, which goes that a panel of armour has to be removed adjacent to the driving position and replaced with lighter material to facilitate a round to pass through in the event of......errrr......rampage. However, according to the BBC this week the US seem to have enough trouble keeping their squaddies from pinching them, well the M577 in that case!

I think a little hull tapping is in order.......
It's odd that 113's should get a focus when there's a complete (and running) GW1 surviving (probably the only one outside Jordan) Challie MTB sitting there and no-one bats an eyelid. I recall a Guides face at Kubinka when I told her about private tank ownership in the UK......she simply wouldn't believe me.....
Anyway, North East of Scotland to Kettering, Northamptonshire...what's that, 8, 10 hours?....'fancy a day out? :-)
