    This is an item of insignia which has been well reproduced for many years and catches a lot of collectors out.

    However, it is one which need not fool you if you study this original example from my collection.

      Ade could you please tell me what would a normal price be for such thing? I found this one for GBP175. It seems original to me but i'm not an expert so i thought to ask you

      Hello all! Thought I would show you my cuff and see if anyone had seen something similiar? Thanks to Adrian,s great tutorial I know its original but at sometime it has had TK,s at the start and end of lettering,the outlines of which are still visible. Any thoughts?       Welcome to the forum.
      I can only see traces at the start, I see no visible traces at the end.
      This was most likely a vet's souvenir that had the totenkopf attached when it was captured,
      I don't believe this arm band was ever sewn to a tunic. You don't show either end, making it impossible to see if there was ever any stitching done.
      It still appears to have the factory folds.
