This is an item of insignia which has been well reproduced for many years and catches a lot of collectors out.

However, it is one which need not fool you if you study this original example from my collection.

Here we see the full length original cuff title.

It is 100% original. A "textbook" example.

      Cheers, Ade.

Ade could you please tell me what would a normal price be for such thing? I found this one for GBP175. It seems original to me but i'm not an expert so i thought to ask you

It is original, but the price, for me, is far too high.

      Cheers, Ade.

Hello all! Thought I would show you my cuff and see if anyone had seen something similiar? Thanks to Adrian,s great tutorial I know its original but at sometime it has had TK,s at the start and end of lettering, the outlines of which are still visible. Any thoughts? Welcome to the forum.
I can only see traces at the start, I see no visible traces at the end.
This was most likely a vet's souvenir that had the totenkopf attached when it was captured,
I don't believe this arm band was ever sewn to a tunic. You don't show either end, making it impossible to see if there was ever any stitching done.
It still appears to have the factory folds.

      Original.

These were un-official private purchase cufftitles.
