Early M56 Helmet. Good decal?

Bought this helmet at a flea market today. Doubt the decal is real, but its still a nice early DDR helmet. Any feedback welcome.

I think M56 lids usually had the decal on the left side, other than that i can't comment!..

Very nice example, I was not aware that the M-56 had a decal so this add's more interest to this and other examples like it

A bit late now, but indeed - the decal should be on the left side. Besides, this one looks too "new". Is there a date-stamp in the shell? The decal was worn, out of the top of my head, up to 1961.

Besides this Tricolour, there were M56's with a VoPo emblem, too.
