I'm surprised as well that there are DDR fakers out there. Makes me want to study original items harder so I won't be conned in the future.by Anderson
I think the value of DDR stuff will increase in the future, especially for items from the 50's and 60's. I've seen Luftstreitkräfte tunics from the 50's go for quite high prices, nearly four digits.

Besides some obvious differences, what are the key features and differences in these fake caps? Construction? Material? I'm a mere beginner still in these matters, but I'd like to know more, because a lot of these don't seem different from originals to my inexperienced eye.
