Managed to get this for the price you would be expected to pay for a NVA equivalent medal. Funny how the change of text to grenztruppen makes this medal worth a ton more. I always see these sold out or at a pretty high price compared to its NVA brother.
The medal itself is in ok condition. With the back being better off than the front. Shame these only really seem to come in these cheap late era boxes
