Modell 47 & 59/2 bayonets with MFG Germany on Ricasso?

Hi, I've been looking at NVA bayonets lately.
Just ran across these M59/2 & M47 bayonets
with MFG GERMANY on its their Ricasso.
It's not on all bayonets, on the contrary.
BTW I'm new in that field.

Could these MFG Germany mark have been put on after
reunification for marketing or exportation purpose?
Or before the 1970 Regulation?
What's the meaning of MFG?

Hello,

These markings are only found on NVA bayonets exported to the USA after 1990. They had to be attached later due to the export-import rules.
Importer and country of origin:
MFG Germany = Manufacturing in Germany

Importer was the Max Fuchs AG
