    Question NVA (Para ?) helmet

    Hi, mates !

This, particular, helmet was offered as an NVA motorcyclist helmet.
    Apparently no markings.

IMO it´s an NVA of the former GDR paratrooper´s helmet.
    Anybody can confirm ? ...

    What´s about the goggles ?
    NVA, (GDR), also ?

    Thx. in advance,
    R.

Interesting, i've always thought the NVA parachute troops used the Polish designed/made lid. i've never seen this type before!...

    Thumbs down

Methinks that what you show is an east German Polizei motorcycle riders helmet, Not FS. Similar shells, but otherwise different.

This is the Polish variant which was also used by the Para's... although I no longer have it.

    Good evening,
I come back to this message which is not complete ...
the helmets and goggles are well DDR: originally motorcycle helmets and goggles.
They were used by paratroopers for jumping exercises.
    2 different models are presented:
first the third model: see the closure with additional depth straps; used from 1981 to 1990 and then the fourth and last model, see locking rings and no strap in the bottom, replaced by a frigolite pad; used from 1986 to 1990.
They are helmets from the firm VEB Perfekt. The brand, size, year of production are engraved on the bottom of the shell, behind the felt cap or the frigolite depending on the model.
