This came into my possession a few weeks back... a very early pattern VoPo traffic wand. This one is believed to be circa 1950 and is in very good condition for it's age.

I've had a few nice pick ups over the last few weeks, another was a KVP/VoPo photo album - but like a lot of DDR stuff, that passed under the radar when I posted it. Here's a sample picture... and the link to the thread. The picture of the VoPo officers at the ranges is a cracker.
