Wedding photo with dagger of honor

I bought this wedding photo because I liked seeing an officer's dagger of the NVA of the former GDR on an original photo from that time "on the man".

A very experienced collector colleague informed me that this is probably a Unterleutnant Landstreitkräfte vermutlich Rückwärtige Dienste (dunkelgrün), a second lieutenant land forces, probably rear services (weapon color: dark green).

This colleague "colored" my photo with a program on his PC.

The Unterleutnant can also belong to the Pioniertruppen (black)...
What is interesting in the photo is that the dagger does not hang below the jacket, but passes through a hole in the pocket to reach the suspension.
Seen the uniform, the photo dates from the mid-1950s - 1960s
