Default Bought a Bike and have some Uniform

Hello, I recent bought a WD motorbike and I am looking at attending some events and want to wear the right kit. I have some kit already:

    • Royal Artillery Service Dress ( Not Dated )
    • Dated British Officer Boots ( Tall )

I am here for primarily two things

I am looking to build a RASC uniform to wear when riding / with the bike, I want to get it right and accessories correctly

I am looking for images of how the officer boots were worn / dressed.

So if anyone could please share any pictures that would be great, thank you

    Welcome to the forum.

I would recommend you start a new thread with your questions in the main section of the forum as this is really just the new member intro section and will not be seen by many members.

That said, I'm not exactly sure where you should post your question.

My gut says in our "Living History" subforum, which is about Re-enacting.

    Here is the link

PS: Of course we would love to see the WD as well
"Please", Thank You" and proper manners appreciated

Posted the bike in equipment ... i mean it is a piece of equipment in order to do your job ( if your job is riding around delivering message / documents )

I hope I am not mucking up the location of where to post this stuff.

I wouldnt mind posting about my Great Grandfather who served in 215/57 HAA RA (TA) as I would like to get the correct cap badge / insignia to replicate his outfit in this picture:

    Hello again.

We were all new here once, so don't worry about mucking up things for now (you will get the hang of it). This is the new users introduction section of the forum so your photos are not visible to all members. If you start a new thread you will be able to get answers to your question.

I think this would be the best place to ask about your Grandfathers cap badge and insignia -

    I hope this helps.

    Kind regards,

    Will.
