British helmet decal (yellow/green)

Don’t know how to add pics but what is the rectangular decal with the left half painted yellow and the right half painted green?

Those would be 'arm of service' colours, with yellow and green indicating the Reconnaissance Corps in this case.

It's worth bearing in mind that decals and formation badges on British helmets are heavily faked in today's market, and photographs are really needed to determine the decal's authenticity. You aren't able to post any as this is the 'New Users Approval' subforum, intended for new members to introduce themselves.
