Carl eickhorn saber

My grandfather passed a sword down to me when I was young, told me his buddies dad found it in a battlefield. The name on it is Carl eickhorn under that is says solingen, there is a stamp on the blade that says in true fest with designs around it. There are 5 "S" engravings that I've found from the handle, handguard, and clasp holding the handle together, and the backside of the blade. Also on the back side of the blade it has a O with a crown on top of it and "09" engraved directly under it. This blade has definitely seen battle, the blade is a dark greenish brown color with rust veins from handguard to the tip of the blade. It's in excellent condition to be found in a battlefield years and years ago, I'm just very intrigued by it and would like to know the value or just more information on it. Thanks
