    Hi everyone,

I've been browsing bits of this forum for a while now, mostly out of interest for British kit from WWII, and I've found that this community is pretty great at solving mysteries and finding out stuff about found kit.

As it happens, I have found what I assumed to be a MkII helmet at a thrift shop, and bought it as the price was right. At closer inspection, I am unable to identify its origins, and would love to get it looked at by the fine people that frequent this place.

my interests, besides the helmet, are bayonets, and bags. not all WWII stuff necessarily, also cold war items, especially those that are WWII items, but adapted by other countries.

some stuff about me. I'm 28, bought a house last year and manage a supermarket while I'm not working on the house. Not a lot of cash to spend, but some things end up in my hands every now and then.

anyway, I'm at your mercy, thanks for having a look!

    Cheers,

    Glenn

The thread about the helmet may be found here, thanks for looking:
