Hello there,
I have joined this forum as my Dad who is no longer with us, brought home a German military hat when World War II ended and I would like to learn more about it.
My dad drove ammunition lorries, had small pox (recovered completely without lots of scars) and helped when Belsen was liberated.
Looking forward to being able to upload photos which also included the soldiers name tag inside the hat.
