Hello , appreciate help on M1 Helmet

Hello everyone, name is David , I’m 53 and live in Pennsylvania. I am an avid collector of all U. S. , German, and Japanese headwear, insignia, and mostly anything that is connected to the Second World War.

Although my collection has dwindled down to nothing because of serious health issues I’ve decided to get involved again because of some pretty choice items that were given to me.

I do know some things ( knives bayonets, guns, ) that I may be able to contribute to the group/ forum.
But more than anything I am looking to further educate myself and help others if I can .
