Greetings All. I have been a career soldier and travelled quite a bit. Even with my interests, I have squandered 35 years of travel and only in retirement started to collect military memorabilia. I started by gathering a few family pieces from Germany and some Soviet optics and rifles. My interest is in OSS items where I have started to do some writing. Currently I work abroad and hope to secure some edged weapons. I ran across some WWII German Daggers and have bee looking for am Imperial Russian Shashka. That is what has brought me to the site. I am fascinated by the exchanges here and hope to post a few pictures so I can watch the exchange of thoughts. Cheers, JP
