Introduction

Hi all,

I'd just like to introduce myself to everyone here.

My name is EJ and I'm a collector of 3rd Reich items. I've had an interest in the 3R since school and now that I travel back and forth to Europe quite frequently (I currently live in Australia), I now have the means by which to pick up some unique and interesting pieces! I usually find pieces at flea markets or military antique markets, usually in France. I try to pick up only genuine pieces. Whilst reproductions can be interesting I'd prefer to keep my collection as genuine as possible.

Specifically I'm interested in collecting items related to the SS. Even more specifically I'm particularly interested in the 2nd SS Div. Das Reich as they had movements through France in an area where I will be living pretty soon. In my spare time I travel mostly around France visiting sites from the war - a couple weeks ago I toured the towns of Oradour-sur-Glane and Tulle where the massacres by the Das Reich division took place.

I'm hoping to learn from everyone's expertise on these forums and meet other people with like-minded interests!
