jacket
a friend of mine who died has left me in possession of a german military jakcet. i am not a collector. he was. some of you may have had dealings with him. his name was Bob Coleman. I believe he was an administrator for one or two forums. i was wondering if i posted a pic of the jacket if you guys might be able to offer any insight as to what it is?
alos, do any of you remember bob coleman?

Welcome to the forum. I've very sorry to hear about your friend. My condolences to you and his family. I'm newer to the forum, so I wouldn't have known him. Once your account is approved (it usually doesn't take long), then you can start another thread in the appropriate category for the jacket in the German Militaria section. I'm sure they'll be able to help you. There are some extremely knowledgeable members on the site. I suggest posting as many high-quality pictures as you can of the item.

Bob Coleman is indeed well known here. He was an invaluable asset to this forum, and is sorely missed.

Bob was a great mentor and he held a wealth of knowledge and expertise..
He is greatly missed by those of us who knew him and corresponded with him.
