MG42 authenticity

Hi all
Totally new member , first post.
Recently fulfilled a lifetime ambition that I thought I would never achieve , owning an MG42.
Traded a couple of deactivated guns that I’ve had a few years to get my MG42.
I’ve payed top dollar as in £3995 .
As I get to know my 42 , I now have doubts.
I’m aware of the risk of a mix of m53 parts , but I have the anti aircraft socket that looks period and Un tampered and the large screw on the barrel change cover rather than the rivet of a 53 .
Then blow me along to my attention comes the m 74!! With large screw on the barrel change cover .
I was also curious regarding the butt stock
Eagle and swastika stamped , which I know can be faked , and the curious olive colour plastic under the green paint .
I hope that I can post some pics for you all to appraise
