Hey, I am a new member here I was sent here from Reddit after I purchased a WW2 German helmet and was wondering about authenticity! I am relatively new to collecting but I had a lot of family that fought in WW1 and WW2 and I got interested as a kid when I went into my uncle's basement and he had all of this cool stuff. He had a helmet, a Purple Heart, a bunch of papers and money from Egypt, Italy, and France. I was supposed to get some of that someday but I have a big family and sadly either someone else got it or it got sold off. I dont know, but I have wanted to buy a German helmet ever since and I did! This looks like a cool community I am happy to join!
