New Member Related to Old Member

Gents,

I was, at one time, primarily a collector of early Vietnam era USAF memorabilia, but also had a few US and German WWII pieces. However, I joined your forum for an entirely different reason.

My dad, Dwight (also known here as DRMessimer), started two long running threads: Cargo Submarine U-Deutschland Artifacts and A Guide to Collecting Mein Kampf. Sadly, he passed away in early 2022. I’m in the final stages of clearing out his estate, and came across two editions of Mein Kampf from his collection, both of which I believe he referred to in his MK thread.

So my question to the members would be, does anyone here know of a couple of good sources to sell these through? Is the War Relics marketplace a good place to sell? Clearly eBay is not an option.

My desire is to see them go to a good home, and I joined your War Relics Forum in the hopes of being able to make them available to other collectors.

Welcome to the forum.

Your dad was a good guy and very knowledgeable across the board.

I think you might need to a Gold Club member in order to sell items here (I am happy to be corrected on that), but it would be well worth it due to the amount of collectors that view the forum.
