Hello and welcome to the forum!
Please feel free to post your father's items in the correct section of the forum here.
https://www.warrelics.eu/forum/order...s-third-reich/
My father was also in the Wehrmacht, he was in the 16th Panzer Div.
Why would you consider selling your family's history?
We usually try to encourage people to keep items like this because once they are gone from the family, they are gone forever.
Ralph.

Welcome.
We look forward to seeing these items and hearing more about your grandfather.
I agree with Ralph, selling these items should be avoided. Your grandfather was a well know soldier
"Please", Thank You" and proper manners appreciated
My greatest fear is that one day I will die and my wife will sell my guns for what I told her I paid for them

Welcome to the forum.
Looking forward to seeing you GF awards and documents.
I'm also along the same lines as the others as far as keeping it in the family.

Welcome! Although my relatives were not in the Wehrmacht, they were in the Red Army and Navy, and I highly highly highly recommend that you do NOT sell any medals, as they should be passed down through your family, and not passed down in someone else family. I am also trying to keep my relative's medals in our home, and not in the flea market. I do not primarily collect WWII German awards, but if I am reading correctly, your grandfather was awarded the Knights of The Iron Cross with Oak Leaves and Swords? Wow!
